“Today, I will go to Germany and I will discuss with the German Chancellor on your progress. I hope that the other EU countries share the same opinion. Albania is a NATO member, with a constructive and influential role in the region. Brussels should have a merit politics for those countries that do not cause problems. We strongly support the free movement of Albanians as a dimension for an open Europe that removes the borders for our citizens”, Prime Minister Jansa stated.

“We have always and we still support very strongly Albania in its European perspective. We hope that Albania will take the status of candidate country as soon as possible. We wish all the best for the reforms process in the country and we are absolutely sure that Albania’s perspective will be in the European Union”, Mr. Virant said.

“I notice and assess the fact that you are determined and full of passion to promote your country. During our meetings and conversations, you shared different opinions by encouraging new concrete steps of cooperation. The Business Chamber should convey the message that your country offers potentials of interest to Japanese investors. Together, we should encourage our ministers of economy as well as of other sectors, to exchange visits in order to find possibilities”, Mr. Yokomichi said.

In the globalization time, the Speaker of Parliament stated, distances loose value and I am convinced that there exist a number of sectors where the cooperation has a mutual interest. This visit, Mrs. Jozefina Topalli said, has a particular meaning. It coincides with the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, only 10 years after the declaration of Albania’s Independence.
